What is Sermorelin?
Sermorelin is a synthetic 29-amino-acid peptide corresponding to the biologically active N-terminal fragment of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29). Its sequence is the first 29 residues of native GHRH with a molecular weight of approximately 3,357.9 Da, and it was first synthesized and characterized in published endocrine research literature in the 1980s. Sermorelin is studied in research models that investigate GHRH receptor pathway signaling and somatotropic axis function, and is among the original prototype GHRH analogs in published research. Also referenced as GRF (1-29), GHRH (1-29), or Sermorelin 10mg, it is supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory reference use.
