What is GLP-1?

GLP-1 is a synthetic 31-amino-acid analog of human glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), modified with a fatty diacid side-chain attachment that enables albumin binding and extended research stability. With a molecular weight of approximately 4,113.6 Da, it was first described in published metabolic research literature in 2008 and is among the most extensively characterized GLP-1 receptor agonists in published research. GLP-1 is studied in research models that investigate GLP-1 receptor pathway signaling, glucose homeostasis mechanisms, and incretin axis function. It is supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory reference use. Triumphant Labs GLP-1 is provided strictly for in vitro research applications and is not approved for human or animal use.
