What is Tesamorelin?
Tesamorelin is a synthetic 44-amino-acid analog of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-44), incorporating an N-terminal trans-3-hexenoic acid modification that enhances research stability against enzymatic degradation. With a molecular weight of approximately 5,135.9 Da, it was first described in published endocrine research literature in the early 2000s. Tesamorelin is studied in research models that investigate GHRH receptor pathway signaling, somatotropic axis function, and lipodystrophy-relevant metabolic pathways.
